Investiture Ceremony 2025 – Embracing Leadership with Responsibility
“Leadership is not about power, it is about responsibility.”
On Tuesday, July 1, 2025, Mount Carmel English Medium School, Kashipatna, held its Investiture Ceremony with great pride and enthusiasm. The event served as a platform to officially appoint and empower the newly elected student leaders for the academic year.
The ceremony was graced by Mr. Satish K. Bangera, President of Kashipatna Gram Panchayat and also the President of the C.A. Bank, who served as the Chief Guest. In a motivating address, he presented the student leaders with their badges and encouraged them to embrace their duties with sincerity and commitment.
The ceremony witnessed the swearing-in of Sharon Pinto as the School Prime Minister and Fara Nafees as the Deputy Prime Minister. Class leaders and house captains also received their badges, symbolizing the trust and responsibilities bestowed upon them.
Mrs. Bindu Maxin D’Souza, our esteemed Headmistress, addressed the gathering and highlighted the importance of responsible leadership. She spoke about the moral values, dedication, and integrity expected from each student leader.
The event was beautifully compered by Madhura Jain, and was attended by teachers, students, and staff who applauded the new leaders and celebrated the spirit of leadership.
At Mount Carmel, we believe that true leadership begins with taking responsibility—and this ceremony was a proud reminder of that philosophy.
