N.S.S. Camp Milagres College

A week long N.S.S. camp was held at Holy Angels School Shirthady from Feb 6 to Feb 12, 2026. 60 students of Milagres College Mangalore participated in the N.S.S. camp. Rev.Fr. Bonaventure Nazareth inaugurated the camp on Feb 6 in the evening at 6.00pm. Followed by cultural programme by the participants. The V.I.P’s from Shirthady Panchayat, Primary Health Centre and other Associations and many dignitaries participated in the program. The N.S.S. students helped in the repairs and maintenance of the English Medium School, painting the grills of the Holy Angels School, cleaned Shirthady Bus stand and the roads in Shirthady area, worked in the church campus and Penchar garden and were actively involved in various activities. Rev. Fr. Alwyn Serrao the Principal, Rev. Fr. Harold Mascarenhas the Parish Priest, the Vice President of P.P.C. Austin D’sa, Secretary Sylvia D'sa, Mr. Wilfred Pinto, Mr. Alwyn D’souza and Headmistress of both schools were present for the concluding programme. The Parish Priest thanked all the participants and the organizers and appreciated their service and good work done in and around Shirthady. Mr. Joel Mervin Mascarenhas coordinated the programme along with Primal Crasta, Shravya, Aakash and Lenisha Peris the staff members of Milagres.
